Knowledge inevitably leads to the reduction of the uncertainty of a geological system and its spatio-temporal variables, and therefore contributes to adding value in projects and assets of economic-strategic interest.
In the recent Master Conference at Argentina Mining 2023, GEOMAP’s director, Juan Ignacio Hernandez, took the stage to highlight the importance of the application of innovative technology and solutions in the analysis of fertility in magmatic-hydrothermal systems based on mineral chemistry and on the other hand, the import of the 2D reflection seismic technique to investigate the clastic-evaporitic filling of salt flats in the search for Lithium-Potassium-Boron brines. Both approaches increase knowledge, and therefore reduce risk.
